Noel Has Quit Oasis!!!
Noel Gallagher has left his band (and believe it was HIS band, not Liam's). In my view he is the best song-writer out there-and I don't give a flying fuck if you disagree. I cannot say that I am shocked or surprised buy his departure. See I heard the news, I can't help but think of the day back in 1996 (I think) when Noel first walked away from the group-only to come back later on. Part of me is hoping that with a bit of time (and perhaps a few pints) Noel will go back to leading this group. However, there is another part of me that hopes he starts being a solo artist-his acoustic stuff is fucking brilliant!!! Noel does not need Oasis as much as Oasis need Noel. Liam's song writing has gotten better since his first song "Little James" was featured on "Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants" back in 2000. But Noel's songs are vastly superior. It was Noel's songs that propelled this band to the top of the charts. I would love to see Noel put together a new band; one where there isn;t focus on just one singer in it (Like Liam). Noel will be able to stand on his own; without Noel I seriously doubt that Liam and the rest of Oasis will ever have the success that they reached with Noel leading the way. Please don't retire Noel!!!!! You've got such a talent and it should not go to waste.

Some More Rablings
So, Liam Gallagher, from my favorite band Oasis (the best rock band in the world) has put out his own clothing line and now is putting out some furniture too. Good for him! Bleed it all dry, I say! Typically, there are the "fans" out there (mainly on nme.com) who seem to have a dislike for his taste in clothing and need to sign in to the site and leave stupid bloody comments about how they don't like Liam's taste in clothes. You people suck!!! As I have stated before, please people, GET A LIFE!
Justin Hayward, of the Moody Blues, recently updated his website (justinhayward.com). I can't wait for the Moodies to hit Toronto in August-already have my tix! I just wish that the band would work on new material, but it seems that the record companies only want to release "best of" packages. How many "best of" cds can one band release? The Moodies probably have more "hits" discs than studio albums-which is a crying shame considering the fantastic mucis they've released over the years.
I'm not normally one to talk about video games but here we go: recently purchased "Legends of WmrestleMania" for PS3. I've got to say that this probably is one of the best wrestling games I've ever played!
Recently purchased "Punch-Out" for the Wii. That one takes me back the days when I was a kid getting beaten on "Mike Tyson's Punch Out". What a great work out!

WWE NO WAY OUT PREDICTIONS
ALL RIGHT WWE FANS, NOW WAY OUT IS HERE. LET'S GET RIGHT TO MY PREDICTIONS.
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH- ELIMINATION CHAMBER:
CHAMP: JOHN CENA VS. KOFI KINGSTON VS. KANE VS. REY MYSTERIO VS. MIKE KNOX VS. CHRIS JERICHO
I LOVE THESE CHAMBER MATCHES! I FEEL THAT THE RAW CHAMBER MATCH IS A LITTLE WEAKER THAN THE SMACKDOWN! MATCH. THE WINNER WILL NOT BE EITHER MIKE KNOX OR REY MYSTERIO; THEY'RE GETTING READY FOR THEIR OWN MATCH AT 'MANIA, SO THAT ELIMINATES THEM. SORRY, BUT KOFI KINGSTON ISN'T WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATERIAL-YET. KANE IS JUST THERE FOR FILLER SO THAT LEAVES US WITH CENA AND JERICHO. I SUSPECT THAT CENA WILL SOMEHOW WIN THIS THING WITH ORTON PERHAPS MAKING AN APPEARANCE IN THE MATCH, THUS SETTING UP THE RAW MANIA MAIN EVENT. PERHAPS JERICHO WILL BE THROWN INTO THE MAIN EVENT AT MANIA MAKING IT A THREE-WAY FOR THE TITLE BUT I DO DOUBT THAT BECAUSE THE WWE DID THAT LAST YEAR.
WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH-ELIMINATION CHAMBER:
CHAMP: EDGE VS. THE UNDERTAKER VS. TRIPLE H VS. THE BIG SHOW VS. VLADIMIR KOZLOV VS. JEFF HARDY
THIS IS THE TRUE MAIN EVENT OF THE PPV. REALLY ANY ONE OF THESE GUYS COULD WIN THIS THING SAVE FOR MAYBE KOZLOV. THE WAY I SEE IT UNFOLDING IS HAVING JEFF HARDY AND EDGE BEING THE LAST TWO GUYS IN THE MATCH. I EXPECT MATT HARDY TO GET INVOLVED LIKE HE DID AT THE RUMBLE AND COST HIS BROTHER THE MATCH AGAIN. THIS 'LL SET UP A MATCH BETWEEN THE TWO BROTHERS FOR MANIA. EDGE WINS THIS ONE TO RETAIN.
EMPLOYER VS. EMPLOYEE:
JBL VS. "HEARTBREAK KID" SHAWN MICHAELS
THIS FEUD IS JUST REALLY GETTING STARTED. I THOUGHT THAT WWE MIGHT SAVE THIS ONE FOR MANIA BUT IT WILL BE A GOOD MATCH ANYWAY. MY THINKING HERE IS THAT JBL TAKES IT AND "OWNS" THE NAME AND LIKENESS OF HBK. PERHAPS THIS IS A WAY FOR WWE TO GET SHAWN AWAY FROM THE OLD AND TIRED "HBK" GIMMICK. MY THINKING HERE IS A VICTORY FOR JBL WITH A REMATCH SET FOR MANIA. MAYBE THEY COULD HAVE A "TEXAS DEATH MATCH". THAT WOULD BE COOL!
NO HOLDS BARRED:
SHANE MCMAHON VS. "THE LEGEND KILLER" RANDY ORTON
NOT REALLY INTO THIS MATCH. SHOULD BE AN OK FIGHT WITH ORTON HOLDING ON FOR THE VICTORY BEFORE GOING TO MANIA.
ECW TITLE
CHAMP: JACK SWAGGER VS. FINLAY
THIS ONE SHOULD OPEN THE SHOW. EXPECT IT TO LAST NO MORE THAN TEN MINUTES WITH A BIT OF BACK AND FORTH ACTION. LOOK FOR SWAGGER TO KEEP THE TITLE POSSIBLY USING THE "SHLEIGHEE" (THAT'S NOT SPELLED CORRECTLY IS IT?). THIS SHOULD SET UP A SWAGGER VS. CHRISTIAN MATCH FOR MANIA!
CHECK BACK FOR THE RESULTS TO SEE HOW CORRECT OR WRONG I AM/WAS. ALL ROADS LEAD TO WRESTLEMANIA. PREDICTION ON THAT ONE WILL COME THE WEEKEND OF THE EVENT.

Music, books and zombears, oh my!
In terms of pure artwork (paintings, drawings, stuff like that) I don't reallly think I'm in a position to argue whether something is great or not. But to hell with that!
My good friend Chris Zenga has a very amazing website located at http://thedayafterart.blogspot.com. His passion is "zombears" (zombie teddy bears). A little while back, I ordered one of his prints from his online store. I got it today and it looks fantastic! I hung it on my wall as soon as I came home! If you are interested in horror flicks, zombies and art all rolled into one, then do me, yourself and Mr. Zenga a favour and check out the site. If you like what you see, order a print for yourself. Trust me, the end result looks amazing. You can choose from a varity of prints and delivery does not take too long, which is another positive. Way to go Chris! All the best to you!
I've never been an avid reader of books. I can't stand reading fiction. hated reading fiction in school and still do. I prefer to read biographies. I have read a lot of wrestlers biographies. As I have mentioned in a past blog entry, Bret Hart's book "My Real Life In The Cartoon World Of Wrestling" is probably my favorite one. Here is my list of the best to worst rankings of wrestler's biographies:
1) "Bret (Hit Man) Hart: My Real Life In The Cartoon World Of Wrestling"
Amazing read! He grew up in the business! This is a must read!
2) "Mankind: Have A Nice Day! A Tale Of Blood and Sweatsocks"
Another must read. Mick Foley has a great tale to tell.
3) "Ted Dibiase: The Million Dollar Man"
Still reading this one. So far it's just as good as Bret's. Both "The Hit Man" and Dibiase hav amazing tales and both grew up in the business.
4) "Andre The Giant: A Legendary Life"
Despite this story not being told by Andre himself (unlike the other books) it's still a pretty good read. My only problem with this book is that they go too far in-depth with some of descriptions of Andre's matches.
5) "Chyna: The Ninth Wonder Of The World": When this book was release, Chyna had not been around that long. I guess she and the WWE were just trying to capitalize on her popularity at the time. Not a bad read but not that great either.
6) "Hollywood Hulk Hogan": I used to be a huge Hulkamaniac as a kid. Hogan's got a story to tell. For the most part it's a good read. However, during the reading of this book I got the feeling that Hogan was trying to make himself out as the geatest thing since sliced bread. It's as if he's saying that he invented the word "wrestling". He tries to explain things like this: I was the first to do this; I evented that. Give me a break! It the worst out of this bunch but I'm sure there have been worse than Hogan!
By the way, Oasis' new single is almost set for release. The third single from their number 1 cd is "Falling Down". Not sure on the release date. But I can't wait.

WHAT'S THE STORY? OASIS GLORY
THERE ARE MULTIPLE THINGS IN LIFE THAT I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND. ONE OF THEM IS THE OASIS HATERS THAT LOG ON TO nme.com (cool music website by the way). OASIS, MOSTLY NOEL GALLAGHER, GET A LOT OF PRESS ON THE SITE. THE WAY IT GOES IS LIKE THIS: "BREAKING NEWS: NOEL GALLAGHER JUST SNEEZED!'. OK, SO MAYBE IT'S NOT EXACTLY LIKE THAT BUT WHENEVER NOEL OR LIAM HAS SOMETHING TO SAY, NME.COM PICK IT UP. THAT'S NOT WHAT BOTHERS ME; I THINK OASIS ARE THE BEST BAND IN THE WORLD AND I LOVE THE WAY THE GALLAGHER BROTHERS SPEAK THEIR MINDS (SOMETHING A LOT OF YOU PROBABLY WISH YOU COULD DO. BUT DON'T HAVE THE BALLS TO DO SO). WHAT I JUST DON'T GET ARE THE SO-CALLED "FAN" COMMENTS AT THE END OF ANY OASIS ARTICLE. THESE MORONS CLAIM NOT BE OASIS FANS. ONE QUESTION: IF YOU ARE NOT A FAN OF THE BAND, WHY DO YOU READ THE ARTICLES THAT OASIS ARE THE SUBJECT OF IN THE MAG? MORE THAN THAT, WHY DO YOU LOSERS MAKE COMMENTS ON THE ARTICLE? IF YOU DON'T LIKE OASIS THAT'S JUST FINE. YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO LIKE OR DISLIKE WHOMEVER YOU CHOOSE TO. THEIR ARE MULTIPLE BANDS, GROUPS AND SO-CALLED "ARTISTS" IN THE MUSIC INDUSTRY WHO I COULDN'T GIVE A CRAP ABOUT. JUST BECAUSE I DON'T LIKE THEM DOESN'T MEAN I'M GOING TO GO ON SOME WEBSITE AND LEAVE STUPID, DUMBASS, MISINFORMED AND BIASED OPINION ABOUT THEM. GET A LIFE YOU OASIS HATERS. GET A LIFE.

A Moody Blues Review
As I have stated before, I have a huge thirst for the music that i love and listen to. I've never been influenced by trends or fashions-the same holds true for music as well.
I have a very wide ranging taste in music; one minute I'm sitting back listening to Oasis, the next I've placed a Jewel cd in my stereo. (Yeah that's right, Jewel). To only listen to one type of music or genre, would be way to boring for me.
The Moody Blues are without doubt one of my favorite bands. Being only 31 years old, my first memory of their music is back in 1988. They realeased an album called "Sur La Mer". It spawned a couple of hits but the one song I remember most is called "Here Comes The Weekend". Definately not a classic Moodies song at all, this is a song that I still love listening to. Back in the eighties I loved my weekends away from school, so this was a perfect song for that time period.
Anyways, I just thought that I would share some of my favorite Moody Blues songs on here to serve as a review. But more than that I also perhaps let the casual fan of the band know what other song they have besides their classics. I often find that with the groups or bands that I listen to, they have more to offer than just their hit songs. So let's get started.
DAYS OF FUTURE PASSED (1967): do yourself a favor and listen to the entire album from start to finish. This record is best heard like that because all of the song s are linked together to flow into one another. It is based apon "the day in the life of one guy".
IN SEARCH OF THE LOST CHORD (1968): LISTEN TO: Departure, Ride My See-Saw, Legend Of A Mind, Voices In The Sky, Visions Of Paradise and The Actor
ON THE THRESHOLD OF A DREAM (1969): In the Beginning, Lovely To See You, Never Comes The Day, Are You Sitting Comfortably, The Dream, Have You Heard (parts one and two)
TO OUR CHILDREN'S CHILDREN'S CHILDREN (1969): Higher & Higher, Eyes Of A Child (part 1), Gypsy, Candle Of Life, Watching And Waiting
A QUESTION OF BALANCE (1970): Question, And the Tide Rushes In, It's Up To You, Dawning Is The Day, Melancoly Man, The Balance,
EVERY GOOD BOY DESERVES FAVOUR (1971): Procession, The Story In Your Eyes, Our Guessing Game, Emily's Song, After You Came, One More Time To Live, You Can Never Go Home
SEVENTH SOJOURN (1972): New Horizons, Isn't Life Strange, You And Me, The Land Of Make-Believe, I'm Just A Singer (In A Rock And Roll Band)
OCTAVE (1978): Steppin' In A Slide Zone, Had To Fall In Love, I'll Be Level With You, Driftwood, One Step Into The Light, The Day We Meet Again
LONG DISTANCE VOYAGEUR (1981): The Voice, Talking Out Of Turn, Gemini Dream, In My World, Meanwhile, 22ooo Days, Veteran Cosmic Rocker
THE PRESENT (1983): Blue World, Sitting At The Wheel, It's Cold Outside Of Your Heart
THE OTHER SIDE OF LIFE (1986): Your Wildest Dreams, The Other Side Of Life
SUR LA MER (1988): I Know You're Out There Somewhere, No More Lies, Vintage Wine
KEYS OF THE KINGDOM: (1991): Say It With Love, Bless The Wings (That Bring You Back), Lean On Me (Tonight), Hope And Pray, Never Blame The Rainbows For The Rain
STRANGE TIMES (1999): English Sunset, Haunted, Foolish Love, Strange Times
DECEMBER (2003): Don't Need A Reindeer, December Snow, On This Christmas Day, A Winter's Tale, Yes I Believe
Enjoy.

Obamamania Is Running Wild!
Hello again. Welcome back to the show!
Even though I'm not American and I dislike politics, I would like to congratulate the American people for making history! Barack Obama was the obvious choice for President. My only hope is that the voters voted for him based on what he plans to do for our neighbour to the south, not because of the color of his skin. (If they did, wouldn't that go against everything that Martin Luther King stood for?) But Congrats to Obama, his family and the entire United States!
O-a-sis, O-a-sis, O-a-sis! The lads from Manchester will release the second single from their new cd "Dig Out Your Soul" on December 1st. "I'm Outta Time" is the name of the track and it is awesome! Liam penned this song and it is the best one he's written so far. The song is just so good. It's got to go to number one in the charts. Anyone who hasn't seen the video yet can do so at Oasis' official website oasisinet.com. I'm assuming that "Falling Down" is going to be the third single released at some point next year.
What's this about Manchester United only tying Celtic today in Champions League play? Maybe my sights were set too high. Oh well. At least they didn't lose.
I'm not a big fan of late night television, but I will say this much: David Letterman's top ten list is fantastic. However, living in T.O. I read the list everyday in the Toronto Sun. Most of the lines are hilarious. On the other hand, there's Jay Leno with the Tonight Show. He has this one bit called "Headlines", seen only on Monday nights, I believe. It kicks the crap out of "The top ten" list any day. He takes real news clippings with funny stories, titles or captions. If you haven't seen "Headlines" before (where have you been?) check it out. As well, you can go to nbc.com/tonightshow (i think) and check out all of the headlines for yourself. However, I would suggest that you go on to youtube.com and search "tonight show headlines" and have one hell of a good laugh.
